We drove through a snow wall like the photo on the right in late June 2002 on the Going-to-the Sun Road in Glacier NP, just after the road was opened. Awesome experience, and no stopping, please! Avalanche area!

I think the Logan Pass area of the road received about 8 feet of snow during the last week of May and the first week of June that year.
