Why don't you call that reporter and ask him why he wrote the story that way. While you are at it call the police official and ask him if the suspects had the stuff he described in the quote.
You're the one using the "homemade machine gun" argument, not me....
No, the police are quoted as saying that in the article YOU linked to. The police are sayin it, not me.

Quote:
"They had a terrorist encyclopedia, they had improvised and modified firearms, deadly homemade weapons, a do it yourself machine gun..." New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Monday.
You do understand the quotation marks, right?

But the list of items from the search warrant didn't say that.

The police commissioner, who I doubt was there, said that.

What list from the warrant?

If you are talking about the paragraph immediately proceeding the police commissioners statement, then was the reporter there?

Seriously you are way over analyzing what wasnt said by a reporter and ignoring what the police official is quoted as saying. Is your tinfoil hat now grown into your skull?

There. There it is. That "extreme irony thing" again.

Need an assist here; somebody quote this post so that obtuseguy can't pretend he didn't see it. TIA.

Was the reporter there?
