I am looking for family in Maryland with the last name/maiden name of Adams.

They would be related to Mae Elizebeth Adams, Ethel Goddard, Warren Milton Adams Jr.

ok...all joking aside...you have listed three of the last names most common, meaning part of the largest families, in St Mary's County. The Hewitt....I wouldnt be surprised if there are St Marys ties there as well. I ran the names through familysearch.org, because, although it's run by the Mormon Church, it's an incredibly accurate source of records. Given what you told us, there are some possible matches. Ive attached the searches, so you can do your own research from here. Keep in mind that many records, especially census records, have been transcribed from handwritten records....there may be some spelling errors...You will probably want to check ancestry.com.

If any of you have family in South Carolina please let me know. we may be related. thanks, Mary
They don't want to talk to you, in either state.

my maternal grandmother re-married an Adams. He wasn't listed on the list of names you provided and I don't know much about his family members. He passed when I was a teen. All the other names you gave are all very popular names here in the county.

Thank you red explorer. that was the site that I found and used. I actually tracted to some burial sites from there. I am looking for an Uncle that is left. Warren Milton Jr and some cousins. Dorothy Goddard. I believe she has gotten married and may be a Thompson now???

And as for the rude comments...my family is not the rich family and I am not looking for a hand out. I am looking to find my family. I miss them. Why is that so hard for people to believe. I have lost both of my parents and all I want to reach out to them.
