The vast majority of "rude" and "mean" isn't that way in spirit. It's not malicious; it's just kind of the way we are here. Good luck with your family search.

If you traced it to a burial site, its possible that you can contact the people that oversee the properties, and find the names of the people that were responsible for the associated costs. Even if those people are now gone, it gives you another avenue to search to see if somewhere they are related.

Sorry everyone...new to the site and trying to learn how you all work. I just would love the find them because I would love the come visit Maryland again and visit where I came from.

As far as tracing back the burial site, my parents saw fit to pay for the headstones of my grandparent when we were little.

I just wanted so bad to bring my daughter and husband up to Maryland to enjoy the sights, the sounds and the Oyster Festival.

Did he pass in the mid 70s?

All the other names you gave are all very popular names here in the county.
If you could put timeframes on these people - what year you last saw them, how old they would be now, etc - it would help tremendously.

My grandpa Adams passed before I was born in 74 and I believe it was 71 or 72. His name was Warren Milton Adams. He had three daughters (Helen, Mae Elizabeth (my mother), Ethel (she married George Goddard and had three girls) and a son, Warren Milton Jr.

I was really close with my Aunt Ethel and her daughters. Debbie had MS and from what i can find she has passed away, around 2005. Aunt Ethel passed away in 1995.

My grandma Adams died shortly after I was born. I believe it was in 78 or 79.

this is about all I can remember. You have to understand my father was killed when I was 7 and I think we only made one more trip before mama started getting bad sick.

thanks everyone.

then find out which funeral home did the work You can get this from the cemetery records too. Call the funeral home and see where they placed the death notice, then go to the paper and get a copy of it. It will have survivors listed, and you get a bunch more names to try to trace that you know are related.
You can also see if there was a guest list from the undertaker.
