Actually no. 4 mass shootings are statistically insignificant when talking about violent crimes.
By the end of the month Detroit will have more murders for the year than Lanza committed and the progressives seem to insist that the same conditions that allow daily shootings there be forced upon the rest of the country

Then why aren't the father or son in Texas being charged with those crimes?

Two purely hypothetical possibilities since you insist. 1) Lanzas mother bought the guns for home defense and they were available to him to use. 2) Lanzas mother bought the gun and gave it to him as a gift.
