Father of Columbine victim speaks on Hill

https://www.facebook.com/becky.rodge...00092809910991

I found the statement by the father of a girl killed at Columbine to a House sub committee compelling. You may too.

That was from 1999

I've seen people mention that he said this during recent hearings

MarieB - Thank you for the clarification that the remarks were made in 1999.

Well, the blog at your link suggests the statement was made more recently (12 years after Columbine event would make this a much more recent testimony, like maybe 2011). Father of a victim of gun violence refuses to blame the weapons, the NRA or any "gun culture" in America. How about that?

EDIT: If you're foolish enough to believe Snopes, they say the words are Mr. Scott's, but the date was 1999. snopes.com: Darrell Scott Testimony This suggests the writer of the blog in the O.P. is mislead or misleading.

Wow. He is a true patriot, even though his daughter was sacrificed because of crazed killers, and his son witnessed Hell. I would like to imagine myself as that convicted and strong. I am in awe of this father. I am not worthy. It doesn't matter what year he said it. Wow.

Lurk, don't actually use the word Edit when you edit your posts, because it makes MMDad's keister hurt, or something like that. Just watching out for you, not that I have to. BTW, you have the best forum name, ever!

Its something they need to hear.
If they are liberals that support doing away with the 2nd, then the blood of their children is on their hands as much as the shooter, and all other liberals hands.
Elections have consequences
