Preserve it? If you recall, Bush enacted the Patriot Act. Hardly something to be proud of.

And you think that with Romney in office it would somehow snap into a national of fiscal conservatism?

Ouch. Every time I am reminded of that, it stings worse.

He didn't say what we had, but what we need. Maybe why Rooney didn't get elected?

Chris Christie slams NRA?s Obama daughters ad - Maggie Haberman - POLITICO.com
He said that the kids didn't have a choice in having armed protection. That's true.

He said kids shouldn't be the focus in a political debate. (In his opinion). That's true, in my opinion.

He said this takes away and lessens the credibility of the NRA. (In his opinion). Thats true. (In my opinion.)

What did Christie do that was so bad? I agree. Leave the kids out of it. They didn't choose public life. They aren't choosing to have armed gaurds. I don't think Christie is off on his thought. I think people are so one sided that they can't get beyond someone who might be honest.

Answer me this: would it be hypocritical for Palin to criticize unwed mothers while her own unmarried daughter was pregnant? Is it hypocritical for Al Gore to tell us to cur our carbon output while he rides around in his private jet and gets rich off of oil money?

Yes.

Do you really not see the hypocrisy of Obama having guards around the Royal Family while telling the rest of us that we don't need to guard our own family?

Did Obama say we don't need to guard our own family? I missed that.

Do you only see hypocrisy when someone has an (R) behind their name, but refuse to see it if there's a (D)?
I'm a Republican. I think you are wrong.

Where did the NRA criticize the girls? Hint: they didn't. They criticized the hypocrisy of His Royal Highness the King. You "progressives" are falling for this crap that they were picking on the girls because you are unwilling to find fault in your savior.

There are a lot of people who claim to be Republicans that firmly embrace the Progressive agenda. Doesn't buy you any credibility.

Neither does justifying that NRA ad. It was wrong when the left did it to Pailin and its wrong now.

Not surprised you are falling for the Obama deflection since he's your savior. When did they criticize the girls? I'm still waiting for someone to point out what they said that was the least bit negative about them. They only criticized Obama for being a hypocrite.

I understand that you are too tinglylegged to see that it is Teh Won who was the focus of the ad and not his kids, but go ahead and believe whatever spin ThinkProgress wants you to believe.
