Fair 'nuff I suppose; however, I think to even view it as a "sexual environment" is a misnomer. Was it pop culture when blacks actually started portraying themselves in media instead of white people with black face? What you see is the burgeoning of a newly accepted people. Pop culture is something that fades and/or goes away with time. Homosexuality is not going to fade away.

It was a choice in my 20's to work for a Performing Arts Center and belong to an organization that had diversity. I had friends that lost friends to AIDs. I watch one friend get sucked in to the gay circle and years later kill himself because of identity issues ( I always felt the gay circle took advantage of him).
