It looks staged - like he's just firing downrange. But I do believe that is really him, it's a real gun, and he is firing it. Mom jeans and all.

That was my first thought when I saw it. It is just too coincidental that they just happened to have a photo after all this time. I am not saying it is a fake but if it isn't he surely needs some lessons in skeet shooting! First, the clay is up in the air not down range, second, his stance is weird (but then I saw him throw a baseball so.....), third, planting his cheek that deep in the stock is going to cause some accuracy issues, fourth, it looks like he has a white knuckle grip on the gun. Just sayin' not hatin'!

Angle is wrong for skeet. Looks more like he's aiming at cans on a fence. I don't even think that's the gun most use for skeet shooting. I guess you can use anything.

Exactly. You don't shoot skeet straight down range. It had to be raised a little. And I still don't think it's obamy. Face is mostly covered. A setup photo to appease the pro-gun crowd.
