| I like it. All the dayum gun and ammo companies should stop sales to governmental agencies.

| I bet all the thugs would love that idea. Then I guess they will have to resort to buying ammo from China. I can just see it now, every other shell a misfire

| I wonder how you could find out how much money York will defer by not selling to New York agencies.

| Saw something in the last week or so that Magpul informed the Colorado legistors that they would move the company, taking those jobs elsewhere, if recent gun-control proposals being floated there became law.

| Colorado legislators amended the bill in hopes to keep Magpul there but Magpul said if the bill passes, they will leave. |

| GROUP OF SECOND AMENDMENT-SUPPORTING GUN MAKERS NOW REFUSING TO SELL ARMS TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IN NEW YORK (AND OTHER GUN-RESTRICTING STATES) This story has been updated to add two additional gun makers and sellers to the list of those no longer patronizing law enforcement in states that do not support the Second Amendment. Since New York State enacted its restrictive new gun laws, many manufacturers have sent that state (and others) a message: If local governments are going to severely restrict the ability of citizens to own guns, then these companies will not be selling to law enforcement in those areas. Among the gun manufacturers sending that message: Olympic Arms, Inc La Rue Tactical EFI, LLC – Extreme Firepower York Arms Templar Custom Cheaper Than Dirt [clip] Templar Custom of North Carolina is a North Carolina-based maker of precision rifles. CEO Bob Reynolds spoke with TheBlaze on Friday and reinforced the company’s position as posted on Facebook. We will not sell arms to agents of the state of New York that hold themselves to be “more equal” than their citizens. Last edited by GURPS; 02-15-2013 at 07:44 PM. |

| Think a little closer to home. Testimony of Beretta to the State of Maryland "In Italy, Beretta has existed continuously in the same small town for almost 500 years. The Beretta family started its investment in Accokeek in the late 1970s and the history of the family is to show commitment to the community in which it locates its businesses. That commitment is not one-sided, though, and deserves the respect of a corresponding commitment from the local community and from the state Government. Instead, we are confronted with a state government that wants to ban our products at a time, by the way, when numerous other state governments are courting our investment. It is worth noting that these other states also do not try to blame a product for human misconduct."
