Also, they voted down an amendment which would have removed the good and substantial reason requirement for getting a concealed carry permit. It is difficult to listen to some of these people speak, they're quite arrogant and demonstrate a disheartening disregard for the people of their state and the concept of liberty in general.
Was there any doubt they would do this?
"Good and Substantial Reason (def):

1) Because I would rather have a gun on me than a cell phone if I am being robbed in the parking lot.

2) Shooting the S.O.B. would be quicker than the cops showing up to "handle the situation."

3) Because a gun in the hand is better than 911/a cop on the phone.

All I know is, if I had purchased any guns legally, the gun shops and/or firearms dealers would have all suffered disastrous fires where their records were kept in their establishment, burning and destroying all paperwork pertaining to any such transaction that may or may not have happened.

By the time one would get around to burning down the dealers store, those records would already have been reported to the government.
Might have to expand your match play just a bit to be sure.

No.

Sorry, I'm a bit late.

I mention the above because I know nothing about assault rifle ownership or the requirements.
I have some that were legally purchased in another state, (although now they are considered assault weapons, even though they are not)
I did not register them in Maryland, and I wont.

A very wise man once told me "Shoot, shovel, shut the **** up." if involved in a firearm altercation when defending myself.

I believe this philosophy is appropriate now.

You miss my point. Let's see how the stupid pans out, and go from there.
