Now without a concealed weapon; ie; a gun on your hip; you are the first target. After your brains are on the pavement, the guy with the bat herds your wife and kids into the back of your mini van and speeds off to God-knows-where, to do God-knows-what to the most important people in your life. Had you had a gun; Good Lord willin'; you would just have to point out the bat the guy was carrying, along with statements from those that saw the guy running at you; and heard the gunshot. I would have NO problem justifying the guy on the ground with a hot round in him. I just proved 'the right to use it.' YW
