I want to laugh at that, but it's too sad, because it's so true.

Awesome- recovery happens after hitting rock bottom, the sooner we get to the bottom the sooner we can get on the road to recovery. Obama and his cronies have prevented us from hitting bottom thus far so we have to do it on our own (and a little help from sequestration). Bring on the bottom!

I look at sequestration the same as I do $7 fuel, tools to sink this ship sooner. It is sinking regardless, let's start drilling more holes to get her to the bottom faster. The fools will blame the GOP but that is fine, they will come around when the government doesn't have any more cheese to hand out.

Another lesson in all of this is the rich are going to be okay regardless and that is a lesson We The People need to learn before we can move "forward". Big bad rich people are the job creators, without them we have nothing.

They blame conservatives in general and the GOP in particular because they believe that we are bad people because we don't want to let them have their way with no restrictions. You know, like children, except that liberals have never outgrown that mentality. I found this quote that I posted in Chit Chat. It comes from a random poster to a song I was listening to. One poster opined that we'd be better off if we could get the "idiots in Washington [DC] to listen to songs like Canned Heat's "Let's Work Together." This was the response to that comment:

"If only! Unfortunately the idiots in charge are now US! Sure some of them are old beyond belief but I bet many of them listened to all these songs back in the day. We used to opine that when WE were in charge of things that pot would be legal and love would be compulsory. See how that worked out. Mitt probably rocked out to this song in between torturing kids and animals in college. They aren't good people--they probably aren't even human. Don't hate--meditate! PEACE!"

Nope, no hypocrisy there...move along people!

The furlough, which can legally begin 45 days after the notification to Congress, would save $4 billion to $5 billion, DOD Comptroller Robert Hale said Wednesday.
I have a better idea (1) stop paying Congress - got to be at least a few million there. (2) Stop money from going out of the country to places like Egypt - 2 billion per year since 1979.There's got to be a few other countries we're just giving money too. Bet I could save 10 billion with just that. (3) Get rid of the unless POS United Nations.

But those ideas are too simple. Obamy wants to screw this country up and he's done a pretty good job so far.
