| Rosa Parks statue unveiled at US Capitol Rosa Parks statue unveiled at US Capitol | Fox News President Obama helped unveil a statue at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday of activist Rosa Parks, whose 1955 refusal to give up her seat to a white man on a city bus in segregated Alabama was a pivotal moment in the civil rights movement. Obama said Parks has taken her rightful place among those who have shaped the course of U.S. history. "We do well by placing a statue of her here, but we can do no greater honor to her memory than to carry forward the power of her principle and a courage born of conviction," he said.

| I'm not sure her's is not the only commemorative statue in the Capitol that's not standing. "I will NEVER give up this seat."

| Wonder why nobody mentions that Obongo had Reid and Boehner both within arm's reach and didn't even mention a get together to solve the federal spending crisis.
