He has been in bad shape for an awful long time. They have been saying his death is imminent for awhile now. What has changed?

Of course he is very old and he has lived a life that many people only dream of so his death may come as a relief for those who have cared for him all this time. I'm sure it has been very demanding.

You know they always say, behind every great man is an even greater women. I think Nancy is one of the best 1st ladies in history.

You know , when she was actually First Lady, I wasn't all that big on her. I thought she was a social climbing snob - patronizing, queenly, Hollywood-ized.

But since Ronnie got sick, I've seen a different side to her. She's really stuck by him and kept low-key. I was pleasantly surprised.

I look back on it, and I really think the media did all it could to make her out to be a b!tchy nutjob.

Those two really love each other, I've read some of his letters to her that have been published.

I actually really wish more people would read what he's put in writing, it dispells the myth that he was a bumbling idiot who was fed policy guidance through advisors.

Yea, they'll twist it to make it sound like he is old and has been out of it for awhile now

He's had Alzheimers for years but was still able to function. End stage Alzheimers is something you won't wish on your worst enemy. That's probably where he is now. You lose the ability to swallow. Your brain simply forgets to run the body. It's a horrible thing to witness with a loved one.

He's dearly missed.

The Nation won't likely get another like him for many decades.

Kinda goes along with our usual blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life.

Let me be the first to call a dance party on his grave. I'm bringing the disco ball!

Seriously, tho. Reagan was the ultimate TV president.
