Sad thing. I wonder how things would be different had he not gotten alzhiemers and remained public and not in seclusion. He had so much charisma, and was liked by so many he would have made a great elder statesman in retirement.

Campbell Brown and Lester Holt reported it on the Today Show. Said within the month or earlier, but he's deteriorating rapidly. Very sad....

I don't think so. They were pretty tigh lipped and behaved when Nixon died. Regan was much more liked than Nixon.
