Planned Parenthood gives kids 'porn' book

Planned Parenthood held a conference for children, without their parents, that included distribution of a book deemed pornography by critics. Parents were not permitted to attend the conference, which was limited to children in the fifth through ninth grades, ages 10-14.

Children in grades seven through nine received a free copy of the book, "It's Perfectly Normal."

The controversial sex-ed primer contains detailed explanations on how to perform sexual acts and masturbation, accompanied by sexually explicit line drawings.

Is PP trolling for future clients?

I remember (back in the old days, like 1977) 7th grade when I had to address an envelope to my parents from science class requesting permission to attend sex-ed classes. I got caught slipping a note that said "Hi Mom!" into my envelope and Ms. Tonzi (I think that was her name) got pizzed!

Not sure how I feel about the whole planned parenthood thing with the prono comics. I understand their point of view, but am naturally suspicious of everything that they do.

Back in the really old days sex-ed was about puberty and the body changes that accompany it; not a "how to have sex" class.

Well, yeah, that was pretty much all we had too. I don't remember putting condoms on bananas or where to get an abortion being part of the curriculum.

Besides it's much better to have a tutor for that kind of stuff.

I think the condom on the banana thing started when AIDS was discovered.

They've already read the same information on the internet anyway.
