HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (AP) -- A state appeals court ruled that a verbal agreement between a woman and her sperm donor was invalid, and ordered the man to pay child support for the woman's twins.

It will be a travesty if this particular case affects true sperm donors. These two were having a relationship so are they saying that he put his little wiggly's in a test tube and the were medically inserted in her? This sounds like a plain old paternity case.

Hell, I'd make him pay $1500 a month just for being stupid enough to fall for the ol' "sperm donor" ploy in the first place. He dated her for two years - shouldn't he have realized she was a flake?

This story sounds completely plausible to me - he's an old beau and she approached him about being a sperm donor. He was dumb enough to do it without a legal contract and got taken.
