That driver should be sentenced to drinking a gallon of the Anacostia river every day for the rest of his miserable life.

So I keep wondering - can a bus driver just jettison the contents of waste tanks like an airplane pilot can jettison extra fuel in an emergency? If so, why haven't we heard of this kind of thing happening all the time? I'd be so tempted to do this all the time, and watch the cars behind me slippin' and a slidin' all over the place.

I'm sure he broke a whole bunch of federal invironmental laws plus local laws. You can't dump from your boat so you sure can't dump from your bus.

I was curious about this as well. I am moderately familair with campers, and everyone I have seen had a cap on the sewer drain that had to be removed before you opened the drain valve that was near the drain exit. I never heard of one that you could pop open while driving down the road. I would be suprised if something like that was allowed.
