Blame the consumer, I find it the epitomy of bad taste and white trash to actually make the effort to buy that crap.

Although, I do wish I'd come up with the Elvis in Velvet painting, I'd be one rich greedy capitalist right now.

They could have easily sold the original Silver Eagles, that they allegedly recovered from the site, for the going rate of $7-$8/1-oz coin w/o ever mentioning where they were found. Instead, they remolded the silver into a coin that supposedly "commerates" 9/11 (BS!) and they jacked the price of that 1-oz of Silver to $20+ based on the 9/11 connection. It is nothing more than a sick attempt to profit from soneone else's misery.

IMHO, this is absolutely no different than if some fool took the gold that was taken from the fillings in the teeth of the Jews that were murdered by the Nazis at Auschwitz, molded it into a commerative Auschwitz coin and marketing it as such on TV (The Nazis yanked the gold-filled teeth from their victims before burning them in their furnaces).

Commerative Elvis plates or Dale Earnhart shirts don't even fall into the same category.
