Kerik withdrew as President Bush's nominee for secretary of homeland security last night, saying he had not paid taxes for a domestic worker who may have been an illegal immigrant." More here. |

| Bush appointed him as a favor to Guiliani as far as I can tell. He seemed like a good enough choice, but maybe they should have checked out his background BEFORE appointing him? |
