| Ah, yes. Pretty funny... and simultaneously frightening. I would not be surprised if this were to happen. Many parents today frequently engage their children with... Kid: "I want those cookies!" Mom/Dad: "Not right now; maybe later." Kid: "NOOO! I want them now!  "Mom/Dad: "Alright, but nothing else..." Once the kid has become 20 lbs. overweight the parent gets upset at the food company... or even the beloved Cookie Monster. Fifty years ago, if a kid cried like that mom/dad would have laid down a stern "No," and that would be it. It would never make the national news. And the possibility of "the Cookie Monster e-mail" would be absurd and unheard. But not anymore.
