From A few different people now that Fred's Gun Shop in Waldorf is logging ID's for any ammo. purchases. Can anyone else confirm this? If this is the case I'd highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Does it matter that there's a record of ammo purchases? Unless you're hiding it for some reason, I don't see why it would be an issue.

I don't know if it's "Constitutional turf" but on the other side of the same coin; isn't the right to privacy in that Contitutional attachment; what's it called? Oh yeah, The Bill of Rights. I don't remember off the top of my head, but if that right ISN'T in there somewhere, IT SHOULD BE. JMO

Collecting information like that for deviant liberal purposes doesn't make any sense. It may be for inventory control or whatnot as well... Tracking ammo purchases doesn't do anything except mark how much of what type goes out on what days more often....

Both people I talked to said that they asked and were told by the clerk that it was a voluntary program and that the information is sent to the MSP, if you can't see why this is a problem then I'm sorry for your ignorance. (Not aimed at you Fishinguy, just in general)
