| I let my daughter "cry it out" at 2.5 months of age. I'd put her to bed, she'd fuss for a few minutes, but eventually she would fall asleep. It took a good week or two before she didn't really fuss and had no problems falling asleep.

![]() I fed mine cereal usually about 2-3 months just to get them to sleep more than 2 hours at a time and mine don't have any allergies, nor are they overweight I also did the same thing with all mine that Auntie Vrai and Catt have been saying....laid them down, checked on them after about 5-10 minutes, etc.....It's going to break your heart the first couple of nights....but, you have to do it in order to get him to sleep on his own(I think it starts the "independent" person process, too) oh....and I have vodka, cigarrettes AND brownies ![]()

I want to let him CIO, but not screaming. It's so hard to hear it...he sounds so pitiful. I need a backbone, don't I?

| Cryin it out is not fun. I have a 2 month old and was wondering this exact thing last night. She is not a big crier anyway so when she does it breaks my heart, and she is my 5th. lol I had one that i had to leave the apartment when she was little to get her to go to sleep. I did the every 10 min thing or so.

![]() Nothing soothed him. We ended up putting him into his Miracle Blanket (because it was midnight and we all needed sleep). He did so much better, but it's because that's all he knows. I just wish my mom would get off of my case. She says things like "Are you going to swaddle him until he's 17?".
