No, it's not her shoes. She starts messing with the "balls" at the ends of the seam the second she puts them on.

I'll check the ones at Target. Usually I can open the package (without damage) and check the seams before I buy them. Thanks for all the great advice. Some of it cracked me up,

Maybe this is a stupid question but.... does your child HAVE to wear socks? Let her go without socks, problem solved.

My niece hated the seam on her socks when she was younger. We solved the problem by having her wear the socks inside out.
