I did $5 for the first toof and then weened her off the money thing by the time she realized I was the Toof Fairy.

Step daughter got 20 once and usually gets 10 for others. I can however not afford that and I think that mine will get $5.00 for the first and $3 for the others. Then come up with a resonable explanation of why they get less

I think the rate for a tooth right now is about $5.00. When I was a kid, it was 25 or 50 cents. I thought that was a lot at the time!

Kiddo got $10 for her first tooth......
Then $5 for the second...
Then the tooth fairy got a little crafty (and broke ) and started taping money together in the shapes of the letters of her name until she had her whole name spelled in money.....she loved it.

$3 for the first letter A.....folded and taped
about 9 quarters taped together to form and S

She has since pulled it all apart and spent it

I had a friend who would sprinkle glitter on the window sill and a little on the bed, so that it looked like the tooth fairy came in through the window....I thought that was sweet.
