I think it's funny that the OP said this:

I only know this because he announced it when they showed up. No call from the parent's, they crossed a 50mph road alone to get there and he's in diapers. I've never had contact with this child and have no idea how to handle him IF something came up. I had to follow after him and keep him directed at safe play the whole time he was there. Thankfully he didn't seem to mind. I let him stay about 45min before I made up my mind and marched him home by the hand. I told his father he was too young to come over and play at our house.
The father had NO idea he was at my house and he wasn't even looking for him, said thank you and please send home the older one. Totally blows me away. I don't understand parents today.
...and now acts like it's no big deal.

Some people believe in dealing with their children in private opposed to in front of the neighbor. And besides, why would he do anything until the other child was home?

Maybe you should quit listening to tard gossip. mAlice's daughter is a fine young woman, and her parents have obviously done a great job with her.

Maybe she cast the first stone?

Why would poster get so upset about it if she didn't think it was a big deal?

Maybe she's melodramatic just like the people that are stringing her up for not calling CPS?

I don't let them do it, my mother does. I just don't freak out about it. There's a difference there.

Point being, we all make parenting decisions that others don't agree with. Doesn't make any of us more right or more wrong in anyone's eyes but our own.

And being melodramatic and jumping the gun was a lesson I thought all of us paid attention to due to the experience/expense of another friend. I guess some people are either hypocrites or a little slow on the uptake.
