Birthday snacks

Any ideas on a snack I can take to school for my son's birthday besides the usuals of cupcakes and cookies. I thought about the dirt and worm pudding thing, I think he would like that but are there any other ideas anyone else has. Oh I would have to come up with something for like 3 other kids because they can't have dairy or don't like chocolate.

Does he go to a private school or public? You may want to check because some schools no longer allow you to bring in anything made from home; it all has to be prepackaged, etc., like Hostess Cupcakes or something...

It is public and I volunteer there so I have made stuff before. Most parents do bring store bought stuff and that's ok. I can't get used to it, me and my kids love to make stuff. They haven't said anything so far about it.

Or go to Rita's. They sell this big bucket of ice for like $30.00. It comes in a bucket with a sand shovel.

So you could make the cupcakes or cookies and serve them Rita's.

I like to buy the big bucket of Rita's Ice and pour Malibu in it, and serve it poolside. But that's just me.

My best friends daughter has a nut allergy and I am allergic to tree nuts, but I don't remember it ever being brought up or handled in any way when I was in school? Do I just not remember?
