DS or TV?

Most of you know me on here.

The little guy (11 years old) talked back to me several days ago. I took his DS away for a week.

Today he talked back again, and I told him his DS would be gone for an extra week/or he could lose his TV privileges for a week.

He is reading.

He will have his DS and TV back in a week.

Talked back with bad language or trying to express his opinion?

No disrespect to you, I have a son, just curious.

I should say, trying to express himself?

He pointed his finger at my face and called me a nag for something he should have done (cleaning his dining spot) I reminded him nicely when I saw it. He continued watching the TV. I "nagged" again about fifteen minutes later.

I nipped it in the bud without beating the crapola out of him.

My soon to be 13 year old son walked downstairs and told me that their bathroom smells and looks like a neglected public restroom as he went out the door with dad.

Now I asked you, do I look like like the maid? If he thinks I'm just going to jump up and clean his bathroom, he has bumped his damn head.

Little ungrateful punk. Why tell me? Doesn't he think he should clean his own bathroom? Take both the DS and TV, make him clear who is boss.

Now, I'll BRB, gotta clean a bathroom.

Have you taught him how to clean his own bathroom?

DH is home now and has given the little guy the riot act for putting his finger in my face and talking back to me.

A would have been over in an instant.

The DS and TV are something for him to reflect upon.

If he does it again he knows Little League will be taken away.
