Just like I don't care for Deaf Culture.

I just want an equal American Culture (no white power, black power, deaf power, etc.) We are all equal no matters what color our skins are or what kind of disabilities we have. I do wish the employers would hire me instead of getting freak out at the idea of how much reasonable accommodations they have to provide.

This is what he was talking about--creating a permanent barrier between the races, not allowing Black Power to mix with the Jew or the European.

I saw a show about the debate in the deaf community about the cochlear implant for deaf children. I was amazed at how militant some of the deaf community was and how rabidly they were against it. It was like they considered any attempt to hear a betrayal of the deaf community or something.

There are crazies like that in any group - they define themselves by their disability, race, religion, sexual preference, political party. It's annoying.

I agree with you. Unless a white family is "up and educated" on the culture of the ethnic child, there probably should be some training. Black children or Asian children won't necessarily know their own heritage if raised by a white family. Just because they were born here, they originated from another country. We aren't all the same.

You got that part right. That's why I don't hang out or live in deaf community. I don't like thier lifestyle or agree with thier views on things. However, I do miss the communication of being able to communicate with my friends easily, but I do not miss the bashing on "Why do you want to "hear" and why you are so glad that your kids aren't deaf." Also, "Why do you have to go out and married a hearing man when there are plenty single deaf men available?"

Deaf Community are very against cochlear implant, hearing aids, deaf person marrying a hearing person, speaking very well (with voice), etc. They call it "Deaf Power" and I call them "Deaf Idiots".

My problem with the adopting of Black children is that these people keep making more of them to adopt. The "system" is loaded with black children and it's sad. These idiot people keep hooking up and then expect the rest of society to take care of their problem!!!! BIRTH CONTROL!!!!
