I don't think it's ignorant, I think it's truthful. Yes, there are deadbeats in all races, however, some are more than others. I was referring to people who keep producing children they can't support, putting them into the system for others to support. Sometimes these kids don't get adopted and they grow out of the system because now they are too old. It's actually quite sad.

Exactly how are you substantiating your statements?

I just did a search of children up for adoption and found 1335 Caucasian/white children and 1553 African American/black children...not much of difference.

Where? As I said, some are more than others!!!! Obviously the numbers speak for themselves. I don't need statistics and numbers. I also read the paper and watch the news. I'm not saying it is the most reliable, no more than an internet search. I'm still not changing my mind and I honestly don't care how many numbers and statistics anyone throws at me. The bottom line is, it is what it is, and if people would concentrate more at the problem instead of getting so defensive (which by the way makes me wonder why you're so defensive), perhaps there wouldn't be so many children in the system.
