I'm looking for any stay at home moms who are interested in play dates......going to lunch,walks at the park or maybe at the mall.I have a 3 month old and would love to meet other moms.....only so much conversation you can have with a 3 month old! plus i would like the exercise.

you can look into joining the Waldorf area MOMS club. It is a group specifically for stay at home moms, work from home moms and part-time working moms. They have all their activities during the day when everyone else is at work.

International MOMS Club

Waldorf specific club sites, there are three covering the area.

I hope this helps out! I joined the local group {I'm in Mechanicsville} here and I have been very happy with the decision. Gets me and my son out of the house and has him interacting with kids his age. And it helps with your sanity because you get to talk to moms that are doing the same thing as you.

Same for you prettylady, there are three MOMS club chapters in St. Mary's {just assuming since that was your "location" on your public info}

MOMS club of St. Mary's-Mechanicsville.
MOMS club of St. Mary's-California
MOMS club of St. Mary's-South/


They are based on school district. If you know what elementary school your kids will go to you'll be able to tell what chapter to look into joining.

There are some maryland moms groups on-line.

Untitled Maryland moms club is one of them. There are moms on there from all over the state and lots of get togethers.

When my kids were younger, I belonged to MOPS, which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Moms who have kids up to kindergarten age are a part of this group and it's wonderful! Each one may operate a little differently, but they typically meet twice a month and have workers who look after your children while you get a little adult conversation, have some yummy food or a cup of coffee, whatever activities that particular group does. The group I went to would bring in speakers that spoke about topics relating to us SAHM's (i.e., Power Cooking, saving on your grocery bill, marriage, etc.). I loved it!
