The day before is when you will find out who your teacher is and meet him / her. Does Carver have more than one Pre-K class? The teacher is usually the same for AM / PM.

I am hoping for AM too! If it is in PM, my kids will never get on the bus together...ever. He is looking forward to walking his sister to class the first day of school.

My daughter was in Pre-K at Carver last year and we didn't know anything until the day before school started. If I remember correctly they will tell you at orientation who the teacher will be and whether they will be in AM or PM. Last year there were two different Pre-K teachers, one who did AM & PM classes and the other did only AM classes. They will also have a bus schedule posted, which was way off last year, she missed the bus on the first day because the schedule said the bus would come at 7:45 and the bus ended up coming at about 7:20. So if your son is riding the bus, be out early. If the teachers are the same this year, you'll either have Ms. Reed or Ms. Butler. Ms. Reed seemed like a great teacher, my daughter had Ms. Butler who I wasn't very impressed with. Very friendly, just didn't communicate with the parents very well. I wish you luck with your son's first year of school!

What exactly is the Judy Center? I have a 3 year old but I thought it was too early for her to be in school.

It is just like pre-k. Diane Berry is the director of the program. Ms. Carlson is the teacher. They are both awesome. Call the school and see if there is a spot open. They have a bus too.
