Calvert Ob/gyn Associates Has anyone ever used them? A friend of mine is not happy with her current OB/GYN and wanted to try them out. TIA for any input.

| I love them, sometimes there is a bit of a wait but I always bring a book or play games on my phone. Been going there for about 8 years!

I just had a baby May and I used Calvert/OB and Dr. Alonzo and waiting 15-29 minutes is one thing, but I honestly waited on AVERAGE 45 minutes for my appts....Dr. couldn't remember my name even after 9 months of appts and she gave me different options for my delivery during the last 4 or 5 appts, being a first time mother... not very comforting. They were just too busy in my opinion. I waited over an hour on many appts and that would be fine if they hadn't made me feel as if I was just a number. JUST MY OPINION, but I won't be back if I choose to have another baby.

I used to go to Dr. Johnson and really liked her a lot. But the wait times there have always been ridiculous, unacceptable imo. When I got pregnant I made the decision to deliver at AAMC because CMH doesn't have an nicu and I had a high risk pregnancy. So I switched over to Annapolis Obgyn and found the wait time up there so much better. I think it's rude to not respect patient's time when we're expected to be on time. I can drive all the way to Annapolis, have my appt, and be on my way home by the time I'd be seen in Calvert.

Love them! I see Dr. Barbara Estes, and she saved my life three times since 2000. Dr. Johnson saved my life once. ![]() They both are very good doctors, and so worth the wait in the waiting room for good doctors who care about women's health and well being.
