This is 100% true. I called her a b!tch one time. She chased me up the stairs to make sure that I'd never call her that again. I can still feel the slap to my face and my head spin around. She was all of 5' tall and 7 months pregnant! I NEVER did it again!

I did that one time. I am pretty sure it was because she told me that I couldn't use the phone because I had gotten in trouble at school that day. I was 14 and not exactly thrilled with my mom re-marrying and having another kid. I got over it.

My father was a former Marine, I would have never cursed or back-sassed him. I really didn't need to anyway. I got beatings for responding to orders with but dad. I think he would have preferred "sir, yes sir."

My kids know how bad I had it because my husband was a witness to it all. Now after 3 kids, my dad is all mello and whatnot.
