Shocking video emerged today that shows a mother holding down her screaming toddler while he is apparently given a tattoo.

The woman was caught on camera restraining her young son while the boy, believed to be three-years-old, screams in agony as the needle is stuck into his arm.

At one point, she is heard saying 'look, look' in Spanish as her child tries desperately to escape her clutches.

people all over the world in different cultures do this sort of thing..modify their child's looks in certain ways. I myself got my daughters ears pierced..its not that much different.

I watched an episode of taboo about this sort of thing once...theres somewhere where they FORCE FEED little girls and make them swallow by squeezing their feet in vices made of sticks...so that they will be fat. And they had it done to them, and they do it to their girls. So strange. Im not condoning any of it, but diff parts of the world just look at things differently..tatts, plates in the lip, brass rings to elongate the neck..those sort of outer beauty type modifications vary so much between cultures. I would rather see some sort of shallow beauty type mod done to children than say, female circumscion, which is NOT the same because it it not a vanity thing but rather an absolute means of control and torture put upon women.

I've gotta disagree with ya.
Earrings can be taken out; and the holes will quickly close on a young child.
Tats don't act in the same way. Besides that, say the tat was a small chickadee; by the time the kid is full grown, he/she will have Big Bird on his/her body; kinda like the 18 year old who gets an eagle tramp stamp.
By the time she's in her 70's/80's she's got an old buzzard.
