Adoption Fees Reduced in October at Tri-County Animal Shelter in Celebration of National Adopt-a-Dog Month

HUGHESVILLE, MD - The Tri-County Animal Shelter is celebrating National Adopt-a-Dog Month in October by reducing the dog adoption fee to $45. In addition, anyone who adopts a dog or puppy from the Animal Shelter during the month of October will be eligible for a drawing for a free basket of dog supplies and gifts.

You will find a variety of dogs, both youthful and mature, active and laid back, awaiting a new home at the Tri-County Animal Shelter. The shelter also has many cats and kittens available for adoption. The Shelter staff is available to assist the public with pet adoptions from noon-5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Shelter also accepts donations of kitten and puppy food, dog and cat food, blankets, towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, hard rubber toys, treats, bleach, and paper supplies. These donations help to ensure that the animals have a nice stay at the shelter while they wait to be adopted.
