SHE CAME HOME!! We are soooo happy, and she is so perfectly fine and happy! This is so bizarre because she has never left before. I think we'll look at getting a micro-chip now!
Thank you for your concerns!

A microchip won't keep her from being hit by a car if you let her run loose.

I understand that, Catitude, but thanks. We will have to restrict her, it seems, now that she's spent two days exploring. As I said earlier, she's always stayed right at home, from the day we got her. But I am quite aware that she's more likely to take off now, which puts her at great risk for being hurt or stolen.
Right now, I'm just plain grateful that she's home and she's okay.

Although frankly, AppyPasoWhateveah, I've been pretty nice to you anyway.

I'm happy for you. Make sure you let animal control know. When my friend called to report the dog she found, they gave her your information. So you might want to let them know.

Unless the batteries dies and the dog ends up in my backyard about once a month and I take care of it until you decide to come home and then act like I have done something wrong.........I guess they do work, just please check the batteries........Glad to hear your pup is back!

well ya u have to still be responsible. it is a tool to help, not a baby sitter. if you can't check the batteries daily then you really shouldn't have a dog.
