It's Flag Season!

How about a Flag theme starting now and running through July 4th? Mr. X and JBR13 both got nice shots last weekend and the time is right with Memorial Day this weekend and Independence day just around the corner.
No need to have a contest, just the opportunity to get some good shots and share. What do you think?

Took down my 3 X 5 American and State flags today and put up my 5 X 8...

A few years ago I was not a particularly good photographer, but I did get lucky once in a while - like with this one before the Old Town Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade of 2004.

And then 3 from the same spot in Vermont; whenever I'm there I think about what it means...

I fly my flag 24/7, 365 days a year.
And yes, I do have a light on the baby at night.

Yep....Pole, American and State Flags....I had the 3 x 5 from when I worked on the Hill.....Nice pole....Of course it's not as nice as your deck....
