Stone walls...

I can remember growing up in Ct...there were tons of stone walls in the middle of the woods...everywhere. Has anyone gotten any images of stone walls, foreground, back, or main subject?

We do, however, have a few rocks but not walls...not a very interesting thread, but some images I have seen in the past were reallt neeeeato, and groovy and stuff

I managed to find a USER friendly after market guide to my S5 from amazon. It goes into more detail about settings and shooting conditions with a cd/rom of the book included to throw on the laptop (if I had one). Also "Elements 6 for Mac: The Missing Manual" is on its way.

I grew up in CT too, always loved the stone. Especially the stone that they removed from the fields and built walls to separate the fields. My parents bought an apartment that had a stone foundation and the basement was like being in a castle. I rode my dirt bike up Bob Cat mountain on spring stone streams, rocks were everywhere. At 18, I moved here to live with my grandparents on their farm. Besides being very flat here I noticed the lack of stones and the abundance of clay. It took me five years to find enough stone on my farm in Great Mills to build a stone wishing well. I love working with stone, real and fake. I'm going to be doing some stone work on the foundation the next couple of weeks. My long term project is going to be building a log cabin bunkhouse with a stone foundation, fireplace & chimney. That is if my back holds up:) In CT, I lived in Burlington, in Lake Garda, went to school in Bristol. There was a lake in my backyard and four more big ones very close. I miss CT and the rest of my family. What part are you from?
