Solomons sunset Feb 27th

I had a fun time tonight under the bridge capturing the sunset. The collection of contrails was amazing, coupled with the low clouds resulted in intense colors. It is hard to just select one or 2 and present them as shot.
I did some cropping and that was about it.

Lovely!
Always take time to watch the sun set and to smell the roses!

Thank you FF. The contrails here amazing. I have never seen so many in one place before I moved here. Really make the sunsets special!

A little later that same evening (27th) I got this quick handheld shot off on the way home from Food Lion. Same spot, under the bridge.

Next is a snap from the beach tonight (28th). Far fewer contrails.

The third shot was the same contrails earlier in the evening (27th).

Your shots are great !
That was a crazy night for colors especially the way
that the jets were sculpturing the sky.

I really needed a fisheye to capture the entire horizon. LOL!

I have traveled half this world and have never seen such incredable sunsets as here with the contrails.
I remember how naked the sky and sunsets were on 9/11 and the day after when there were no jets to leave contrails.

Were you in a truck?
