| What if Hillary is not the nominee? I've been operating under the mindset since 2004 that Hillary will be the Democrat nominee for President in 2008. It has been evident that Gore was done and the further he ventured out into full blown public Micheal Moore-esque discourse the more it seemed he was happy to not even be considered. I still don't know if ANYONE actually supports Kerry. So, he's out. Dean's 15 minutes ended when his scream did. In the 2004 Dem debates Hillary, not even running but certainly showing up to wave and say hello was the star. So here she is and it seems that Obama has a reasonable chance at winning Iowa and New Hampshire and that there simply are too many Democrats who just don't want her. So, is this all just media fluff and she's gonna win pretty easy or is there a reasonable chance she will not make it as the nominee? What then?

| Oprah is pimping for Obama now. We woman love our Oprah. Maybe female voters will make it out on election day.

It will be quite the challenge to imagine a female president, or any president, who could do more to distort and transform what I thought America was than George W. Bush, not even Hillary. Sure, it's possible, but once you've taken the first step away from principle, that's the hard one. The rest get easier and easier. PS; I'd have taken Dan Quayle over W or his father.

| Really? I just can't see him taking her if he wins.

| He's a political whore. He'll do whatever to get elected, and having the #2 candidate as VP is the best way to get the final #1 vote. At this point, I don't see how the Dems can lose. Have you heard ANYTHING out of the Republican camp recently? I haven't. |

| I think that it's that "she's Hillary". It's not a problem that she's female it's just that people either love her or they hate her. There's not enough people in the middle who might ne swayed one way or the other. If Hillary wasn't the former First Lady, she would've never gotten the attention that she's been receiving and she'd be a 2nd tier candidate at best.

| I might have said this before, but if the Dems were smart they'd get behind Joe Biden. He's the only candidate so far that doesn't come off as a leftwing nutjob, and he has more credible experience. He could win; I think the idea of Hillary or Obama as President is pie in the sky. But what do I know? As a Republican, what I look for in a President is a lot different than what the MoveOn crowd looks for. |
