| Refresh my memory, does Mc -F limit individuals or just PAC's and corporations? |

It does all sorts of stupid crap like limit what adds can be run 30 and 60 days out from local and general elections. For instance I could not say "Vote for Larry over John McCain because John McCain will limit what I can say about him" 30 days before the election. You can't use the target of the adds name at certain point. Yet, ha, the press can. It also spawned, naturally, these idiotic 527 entities to get around the latest limits and definitions of 'hard' and 'soft' contributions. He made the press a bigger, protected player in the campaign system which is why they love him so and he made all the money people go find another way around his idiotic idea of ' free speech'.

| I like the "if it can't vote, it can't donate" idea. Beyond that, records are public and no limits on donations.

I admittedly try to avoid reading the political threads here, but it is hard not to see some of the comments; and knowing a good number of folks here are republican, this comment has stuck in my head after all this time. It took me a while to find this, but I knew I remembered reading it at some point. I am qurious what changed your mind Vrai?

Seriously, Vrai strikes me as a person that is consistent in her views, so I just wondered what changed her mind.

| Board Mommy | Obama supporters. It's no secret that I'm not a huge fan of John McCain. I was excited when he picked Palin, and was ready to vote for him. Then he voted for that bailout and I was like, pfffft. With the ugliness against Sarah Palin and her children, and the hysteria that these Obama nutties have engaged in, not to mention the voter fraud, I'm am now voting against *them*. Not for McCain. Not against Obama. Against the Obama nutties.
