Your economy on Bush

His legacy is in great form don't you think???

This is what a weak dollar, perpetual deficit spending does for you..

Wholesale inflation shot up in 2007 by the largest amount in 26 years even though falling gasoline costs allowed price pressures to moderate in December.
The Labor Department reported that wholesale inflation was up 6.3 percent for all of 2007, reflecting a huge increase for the year in various types of energy costs ranging from gasoline to home heating oil.

You mean inflaction shot up in 2007 by the largest amount in more than 2 decades and it happened under the control of a Democratic Congress?

Trash mouthing your own team again?

No, it happened under 7 years of a Republican executive president, and 7 years of republican congress..

Let's face it. Dems don't get anything passed that Bush or the filibustering Republicans don't want them to have. That's not much control.

So, 9-11 was Clinton's fault, right?

Well, if you take a vacation when you've been warned of an imminent terrorist attack, and leave your security posture on low alert, I think you pretty much own those 3000 dead Americans.

You really are a closet Republican...

So, using you're reasoning, the economy is the fault of the Democrats. There are three branches of government. Bush doesn't own the world.

Dude, you never let me down. You can take anything and blame it on Bush.

The economy seems to have a way of falling into recession under the Democrats. Electing a Democrat President would only result in a depression.

I agree with you, the economy is in recession or at least will be by March. But, historically, the Democrats have not done a lot of good with the economy.

And, I am a registered Republican in the 5th Congressional District of Maryland voting for Dr. Ron Paul.

Its the Rep. way of blaming. If you bring up their screw ups, they always pull Clinton out of the pocket. It never fails.

The economy was screwed under Bush's watch and still is. Everyone knows whoever takes office will have to cleanup his mess and his "Bush Squad" mess. Maybe the Rep. need to outsource the Presidency until the election since they allow outsourcing everywhere else. America, you gotta love her..

But last week, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke sent a strong signal that the Fed is more worried at the moment about weak growth than inflation — given a series of weaker-than-expected data in recent weeks.

The economy skidded to a virtual standstill in the final three months of last year
So, the worry isn't the inflation, but the weak growth. Why could that be? Could it be fears of raised taxes? From Democrats in Congress?

The economy was strong until the final quarter of last year.... hmmm, kind of takes the whole concept of a bad economy because of Bush off the table. Makes it sound like the housing issues (people's own irresponsibility) are the root cause, not administration policy.

And, all without mentioning Clinton.
