At this point of time, Obama's campaign released no statements on Mrs. Clinton's remarks.

After blaming Obama blew up...

... Clinton supporters (in this case, Bob Johnson) pulled this stunt again:
Quote:
I am frankly insulted the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues — when Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood; I won't say what he was doing, but he said it in his book — when they have been involved.
Is he attacking Obama for teenage drug use again?

Later, the Clinton camp said they were reffering to Obama's years of volunteered community service.

This has been a back and fourth thing with the Clinton-Obama campaign. Because, you know, I'm sure Shrillary was perfect when she was a teenager.

An election being fought on issues from the 1960s. Here we go again.

Hillary was never a teenager. The Soviets built her in 1965 and sent her to Wellesley so she could influence mush-headed women and gain foot soldiers for the cause. DID YOU KNOW that Hillary was the president of the Wellesley Young Republicans organization? Change comes from within, you know.

Which is epically stupid.

MLK was not the only civil rights leader, he was the most popular but civil rights legislation had been coming for years and would have happened even without MLK. LBJ as was Kennedy were very much into civil rights.

This whole thing is bull and with all the things to beat Clinton over the head with this is the least worthy of any attention, Obama knew it and so did the media. Of course if it gets traction the media will hop on it and go for a short spin which they did.

Nevermind...don't answer. I don't really care about whatever it is you're trying to spin this into.

Andy trying to explain anything is like eating a liverwurst sandwich. You take a bite and the more you chew the bigger and more foul it gets.

I think it's great when two sides can come together like this. Makes me want to sing Kumbaya

Except for the fact that the media got on board and turned this into something Obama said and did.

We have civil rights. There are multiple people who deserve praise for it, as it was not one man and one man alone who made it happen. It's 40 years later. Not a campaign issue.

My beef is not with Clinton or Obama, it's with the leftist media who would've : if any Republican had said that. Why do I say that? Because they have.

The issue is over, the media needs to discuss what's happening here in the 21st Century.
