I can tell you right now that Hillary Clinton is NOT going to be President. She probably won't even get the Dem nomination.

If it's Romney/Obama, could go either way. If it's McCain/Obama, start practicing saying "President ObamaLee".

That is my prediction.

It's sad that all our elections turn out just like the South Park episode where the kids vote for a new school mascot. They wind up having to choose between a giant douche and a sh1t sandwich. One kid doesn't see the point of voting to choose between those two choices, but his dad advises him that in every election your choice will probably be between a giant douche and a sh1t sandwich.
...anyone who will listen; some of the best social commentary of our age is on South Park. Like it or not.

There was a lot of dissatisfaction with the war. There was no chance of the Republicans holding office.

Still, people are being brainwashed by our leftist media outlets that everything going on is the fault of the Republicans. They don't hear it any differently. The leftist media doesn't talk about the records the DemocRATs are breaking: spending and printing.

They hear about Big Bad Bush vetoing health care for children, they don't hear about the tax increases involved in doing so. They hear big bad Bush vetos a bill and they're not hearing about all the pork stuffed in the sandwhich.

I agree with Mr. Bush, anything and everything that's added to a Congressional bill should be debated and not added at the last minute. We deserve to know everything they're debating. We, the taxpayers, have a right to know everything they're spending our money on.

But that will surely be spun by someone into we shouldn't tell you this because of "National Security" or some other

We hear about how Big Bad Bush and the Republicans authorized illegal wiretapping (I view it as illegal), we don't hear about how the DemocRATs also approved of illegal wiretapping.

President Obama

That just sounds awful. Sounds like I'm saying "President Osama."

It's a sad statement, but you are correct about that.

I watch South Park all the time.

...a minute. If things continue to improve in Iraq, as they are, if US troop losses keep going lower, if real political process keeps being made, the war becomes a central plus for anyone who supported it come this fall.

Think about the flood of commercials of Iraqi little girls thanking American troops and the American people for a chance to go to school. Think about the adds of old folks talking about a chance to heal their ails in new hospitals. Little boys waving American flags as US troops walk by sans battle gear. Of shops open, of a new normalcy with no dictator, with way less violence.

How does Obama counter those images with "we should have never gone."

The Democrats have taken a complete pass on the war the last several months publicly and have not even yet begun to address the very real possibility that the whole thing is working.

You can get away with that with the left of the party. Conservative Democrats and middle of the roaders know there's still a war going on and an entire region that can't just be ignored.

Everything going on IS the fault of the Republicans. If Bush would get off this nicey-nicey both sides of the aisle crap and do what he was elected to do, things would have been peachy. But the Dems squawk and Bush starts firing people. They call him racist and he shovels money to third-world ####holes (like New Orleans ). They call him Hitler and he starts crying about torture.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way. And it's long past time for Bush to get his ass out of the way.
