I turned it on for a second and there was that little dyke midget from Baltimore, Mikulski, sitting there reading something and totally ignoring anything being said. I got ticked and turned it off while I still had a TV. That's what represents Maryland???

What have we got to do to get rid of that pestilence.?

Did you ever think that Mikulski may have been reading the text of the speech. You know...the same text that everybody was provided, and that some were reading along with during the speech?

It was actually really cool watching the raw NBC News Channel feed on after the speech. You could hear Mr. Bush talking with all the other people there.

I would rather hear that than hear Olbermann open his beak and start squacking.

I really don't give an eff what the pundits think or what Bush meant when he said something. He said what he meant and meant what he said. I don't need some blabbermouth idiot baseball commentator telling me what Bush really meant.

That's what C-SPAN is for.

I think this may have been the first State of the Union I actually watched most of 9 kind of tuned out near the end, had grad work to finish before bed time) I found it rather interesting.

Andy, what 3 points are you giving to the dems? not trying to start a fight, just didn't see all of it.

The two times they stood up and applauded Bush on something that he was right on and the Kansas Gov. ripping Bush on the tornado response.

Yes, but not like the others. Last night, they had Richard Norten Smith who is a presidential historian and he talked about the history of the State of the Union address. Once it came close to time for Bush to come out, they cut to raw footage. After the speech, they did veiwer call-ins. No talking heads like the others.
