IMHO it's WAY too early in this whacked out Presidential election to be saying for certain who is going to be the candidate in each party. The MSM, interestingly enough, isn't emphasizing the fact that McCain pretty much got his ASS handed to him by Romney in the Maine caucuses. That gives me reason to think that this upcoming Super Tues is going to be one HELL of a match.

I do agree that Tuesday is going to be interesting. The Dem's look like they are gonna be a train-wreck right up to the end....might get a brokered convention...if that happens, then I think the Dem's will wake up and realize that Hilary is too polarizing, while Obama just isn't experienced enough....God only knows who they would run out there then...Gore?

We will all see if McCain can hold off Romney, who isn't going quietly. It would be a nice coalition if we could get McCain as President, Colin Powell as VP, Romney as SecTreas, and Guiliana as Attorney General. That is a fantasy...but there is precedent for "burying the hatchet" as Bush 41 became Reagan's VP, despite his remarks about "Voodoo economics." GHWB didn't go quietly either.

Maine's caucus results are non-binding, and don't award delegates...and it is Mitt's backyard, so to speak. Mitt did come up with the best line of any candidate during the debates, Bill Clinton in the White House again, with nothing to do!

...no spin whatsoever needed to read Sen. McCain's record; his voting record and his own legislation speaks for itself. He is flat out hostile to the 1st amendment after getting his hand caught in the cookie jar with the other Keating folks. Far better to blame it on the rules than take responsibility? Some straight talk.

He is, clearly, a wide open border guy. He is ambivalent about taxes and can say whatever spin he likes; he is still one of two GOP'ers to not support the Bush tax cuts. He 'lead' on his Kennedy/McCain amnesty bill right up until his whetted finger got blasted by Americans sick of he and other business as usual Beltway types, including our dear President Bush, who just simply seem to not give one tinkers damn about Americans on the labor and trade end of the job world.

He's drinking Al Gore's climate change kool aid.

Oh, but he commanded the largest squadron in recorded history and is a real leader.

My question is; lead us where?

Larry you're an f'iing idiot....McCain voted against the tax cuts because there were not corresponding spending cuts. The so-called conservative Bush Republicans spent our tax dollars like drunks in Subic Bay. Now we have record budget deficits, and our dollar is no longer the preferred currency around the world. Sounds like progress to me!

On the Keating Scandal he owned up to his efforts to assist a local Savings and Loan.

On the border...damn Larry, you would think you might want to also address the 20 Milliion Illegal Immigrants already in the country, like McCain did.

Oh no...instead of trying to reach a solution... you'd rather stand on your "principles" and watch the gridlock continue.

You are a waste of time

...it's our next president! Nice spin, Johnny Mac! Love your style. You have no class, no point and your support for your guy amounts to telling those who have legitimate issues with your man to...eff off. Good stuff, there. True leadership.

And people like McCain and yourself actually wonder why you can't convince anyone of why your 'ideas' are better or even worth considering.
