Why are McCain and Romney...

... Skipping out on tonight's cross-party debate? Everyone else still in the running (Obama, Clinton, Huckabee, Dr. Paul) are in the debate. Why aren't MccCain and Romney jumping in. This is going to be a huge debate because it aims at a younger audience. Do McCain and Romney think the 55+ crowd is enough to win the election? Or do neither want to go up against their potential Democratic rivals.

Just another reason I'm not voting for them.

Anyone who would go on MTV to debate is not a serious candidate. "Boxers or briefs" is not, in my opinion, the height of intelligent political discourse.

Only dorks watch MTV, anyway.

The debate's organized by MYSPACE, which is owned by NEWSCORP, who owns FOX NEWS.

I won't be watching it on MTV, anyways. I'm watcing myspace.com's Live online stream. I refuse to give them (MTV) the ratings.

I'm watching Ron Paul on C-SPAN right now. I like him more and more each time I see him speak.

I think its pretty obvious that neither see's themselves as a potential winner of an MTV debate.

My prediction, not that it takes a "Nostradamus" to figure this out.... Obama will win in a landslide, all the pot smokers will refer to Obama admitting to smoking grass and he will be hailed as their candidate of choice.

A serious person doesn't want to field questions from the booger eating moron brigade. Those kids will vote for whoever promises them ice cream for dinner. I think Romney and McCain are right to flake that nonsense off.

... and you know better.

A lot of college students are, in fact, concerned about the economy. They are concerned about the war. They are concerned about the elections.

There's a list things about this generation that will define the generation for some time. We've witnessed several events that will attach many younger voters to the election process:
  • ATTACK ON AMERICA - September 11, 2001
  • Hurricane: KATRINA
  • Indecision 2000
  • Most young people believe George Bush is the worst president ever
Believe it or not Vrai, people are paying attention.

This, IMO, just ensures Obama victory. There is a crowd who's passionate about Ron Paul. There's also a huge following with the youth in Barack Obama.

Nice way to target those voters.
