Not as consistently and uniformly, no.

Does it happen from the Left...sure, of course it does. The Right is far more collectively enthusiastic about it, though.

...come on. You don't recall the endless cry of 'crisis' Clinton applied to everything from the environment to a Big Mac shortage?

I marvel at how you all do that. "Elephant? What elephant? I don't see any elephant. You guys must be crazy."

I know left-liberal-progressives don't like labels (unless they are applying them to someone else), but there are words and phrases we use in communication to describe and identify characteristics and behaviors. It's a very simple concept, and one that has been used since the beginning of time.

I would not like to see it accelerate, though, I would prefer to see it stop or go away.

Unfortunately, none of the current likely candidates has any intention of correcting the wrongs, as far as I can tell. It's a matter of degrees of how much worse they'll make things.
I agree with *this person* How much worse can it get? A lot.
We will soon find out. We aint seen nothing yet.

Neither one of them is proposing socialized medicine. When one of them comes out and says that my new doctor is a GS-12 govt employee, then I'll believe they're going for socialized medicine.

"Ack...Communist! Socialist! IslamoFascistKlingon!!!"

You can take positions of either party and contort them to the point where you can selectively apply a fearmongering label. If that's all you've got, I guess you have to beat it into the ground.
So, you don't see them in a socialist lean. Do you think they lean conservative? Do you think they lean strict constitutionalist? You didn't say what you DO think, only denied what others think.

What issues do you think are contorted?

So, where will the money come from for the "universal health care"? If it's tax money, what else is it than a socialized medicine?

We've already had a discussion regarding Hillary and her quotes sounding Marxist.

I guess it’s how each of us defines socialized medicine. I view define socialized medicine as govt run healthcare. Govt doctors, nurses, etc. Govt owned hospitals and clinics. No private insurance companies or medical faculties. Paid for entirely through taxes. In reading the Hillarycare and Barakcare proposals, I couldn’t find anything that talked about healthcare as described above.

Nice framing of the question. So if I don't think they lean conservative or constitutionalist, they must be "socialists".

They lean "liberal", obviously.

If a Democrat wants to make healthcare available to all Americans, regardless of income level, is that what makes it socialism? Or is it the taxpayer financing of some of this healthcare?
